Housing Projects

Cross and Craig have been working with a rural Housing Association on small scale affordable developments on green-field sites within the Green Belt.

These are typically around 12 houses,and must be designed to match the feel of the older vernacular surrounding properties, with brick, tiles and stone details to match, but on tightly controlled budgets.

As a result, we are fully conversant with space standards, HQI assessments, the Code for Sustainable Homes, Lifetime Homes and Secure by Design accreditation.

Furthermore, we have all designed housing schemes for private developers on rural and tight urban sites, and would be more than happy to carry out a feasibility study on any prospective sites for a modest fee.

Cross and Craig regularly works with Local Authority trusts on housing projects for disadvantaged young people or those with learning disabilities, to provide sensitive and practical homes and training facilities.
